Choosing technology plays an important role in our processes
It is our belief that we can combine the particular requirements of the legal and financial sectors with cutting-edge technology. We are very focused on high-tech solutions.
Some technology is integral to our translation, including creating and maintaining client-specific glossaries and databases to store and reuse your translation work if appropriate (we call these databases “translation memories”). These technologies provide consistency and are crucial to guaranteeing the success and affordability of your projects.
Other technology, including a highly-automated workflow and computer-assisted translation, can be included in your personalised technology portfolio.
Machine Learning is going to play an increasing role in the legal and financial sectors, like in a number of professions, and it is our belief that the time has come to embrace it and make it work for us. While intelligent software solutions are gradually being implemented in legal and financial firms, our own brand of machine learning for the translation sector is taking the form of what is referred to as “computer-assisted translation”.
With our High-Tech partners, we have developed highly specialised computer-assisted translation engines specifically designed and trained to help processing legal and financial translations. This enables us to offer you extremely rapid translation delivery times and different levels of pricing and quality to meet your needs. The translation that is produced can be delivered to you as-is, or with a bit of editing, or with full editing to a perfect rendition. This is available for a selected number of European languages.
Pricing and quality levels
Draft translation that is for information only. Rapidly produced and unedited. It will contain some errors but will give you the gist of the text. Very useful for large volumes of documents. You can then select for which sections you really need a fully edited version, or not, and thus reduce delivery times considerably.
Draft translation with rapid editing by a translator to take care of main inaccuracies and typos.
Fully edited translation. Full verification and editing by a legal or financial specialist translator. Accurate and ready to sign (such as for final contracts), court filing, publishing and certification if needed.
Standard translation. Done by professional legal or financial translators within classic time frames and price ranges. This is for documents where the format does not allow processing by software (poor photocopies mainly) or languages not covered by our engines.
As a result, time frames will be dramatically reduced for levels 1 and 2 and significantly for level 3.
